“Mr. Vassilev, you insulted me a lot! I am a 4th generation teacher! I have a long teaching experience, maybe over 30 years already! But I have never worn pantyhose, and that too with holes! Neither has my mother! And she is a teacher with a name, not only in Sofia, but also in the whole of Bulgaria”, this is what the teacher Radka Kancheva wrote on her Facebook profile on the occasion of a speech by former finance minister Asen Vasilevwhich definitely ignited passions in the public space.
“Asene, you were also born in Bulgaria, in Haskovo! And you studied in a Bulgarian school, with Bulgarian teachers! I am convinced that they did not wear “tights with holes” either! How were you not ashamed to say such nonsense ??? I haven’t seen a colleague wearing ‘tights with holes’! We all have dignity,” she fumed.
“We are all proud to teach our students!
We are all dressed according to our own style, but we are always neat, clean and decent! Even in the worst of times!
Don’t look at the straw in someone else’s eye, but look at the beam in your own!”, the teacher also wrote.
