Vincent Niclo will host the Sidaction evening this Saturday, March 25 on France 2. “We can soon begin to imagine a world without AIDS, but we are still far from it”confided the 48-year-old singer on the set of Buzz TV this Wednesday. An interview which was also an opportunity for the artist to speak about his personal projects, such as the release of his album and his church tour before the summer. An opportunity that he seized in particular because he does not often have the opportunity to address this subject on television. Indeed, famous talk shows would have refused to invite him.
“There are programs in which they do not want to receive me”, he revealed, citing in particular C to you et Taratata. “Apparently, I don’t fit into their editorial line. My press officer here will be able to tell you.” The show Daily, to be found this evening from 7:20 p.m. on TMC, was also in his sights: “At Cyril Hanouna, there is no problem. But with Yann Barthès (…), I don’t have the card. They must think that I’m too popular, which I also claim. Maybe I’m not bobo enough. I don’t know, you’d have to ask them.”
One day, maybe…
He also claimed to be aware of the content of his remarks. Words he assumes: “I say it because enough is enough!” And he doesn’t lose hope at the idea of one day being a guest on these famous talk shows: “One day, maybe I’ll be invited.” It is also said that the people who are currently at the head of these programs will no longer be at some point and will thus be replaced by others, which may give him a better chance of being invited: “You know time passes, the animators too…”.
The singer notably regretted that a host “which mixed all generations and styles” like Patrick Sébastien is less present in the PAF than before. “He revived artists that we did not see on TV”, he remembered, wistfully. But as a reminder, the former presenter of the biggest Cabaret in the world is indeed back since he will soon embody two new formats on C8.
