IVASS he imposed in the month of September 6 sanctions against 5 companies of insurance, for a total of 385.129 €.
In detail, the highest sanction is imposed on AMTrust Insurance, equal to 156,000 euros due to deficiencies in corporate governance which did not adopt policies and procedures consistent with the management characteristics and risk profile of the company nor did it guarantee constant and effective supervisory action regarding the adequacy of the risk management, control and measurement processes.
The other 4 sanctioned companies are:
- Adriatic Osiguranie D.D.two fines for a total of €123,577, for failure to comply with the deadlines for formulating the offer of compensation to the injured party (RCA) and failure to accept, within the 60-day deadline, the request for access to the documents of the TPL accident file car
- Gamalife Companhia de Seguros de Vida SA€45,552 for failure to comply with the contractual deadline for the settlement of the insurance benefit of life policies
- Intesa Sanpaolo RBM Health€30,000 for failure to comply with the regulatory deadline for providing those entitled with information on the insurance relationship and related benefits
- Your Insurance€30,000 for failure to comply with the terms for formulating the offer of compensation to the injured party (RCA)
Overall, in first 9 months is equal to 12.007.517 € the total amount of sanctions imposed (48 in total) to businesses.
