Ivar Tollefsen buys real estate portfolios for NOK 92 billion

It is with great pleasure that we announce the purchase of these attractive properties, centrally located in five attractive European cities with rich cultural history, strong economic growth and with residents with great community involvement, says CEO Patrik Hall in Heimdalen Bostad in a press release Sunday night.

The total transaction value is NOK 92.5 billion, and annual rental income will be NOK 2.8 billion, the company states.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in early December, depending on the competition authorities’ approval.

Ivar Tollefsen has for several decades built property values in his wholly owned company Fredensborg. Much of the value lies in the Swedish company Heimstaden, which is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Heimstaden was established in 1998 and later acquired by Ivar Tollefsen’s parent company Fredensborg for NOK 1.6 billion in 2005, writes Today’s business.
