This was said by the candidate for People’s Representative with number 10 in the list of “BSP for Bulgaria” in the 24th MIR Ivan Takov.
He organized a Sunday football tournament “Ask for Change” in the “Vazrazhdane” area. Teams with candidates for people’s representatives from the 24th MIR participated in it. The leader of the BSP – Sofia Kaloyan Pargov joined the competition, and at the end of the tournament he handed over the cups to the winners. Outside the competition, Kaloyan Pargov and the candidates for MPs Ivan Takov, Georgi Svilenski and Dimitar Danchev would shoot each other and put on a real show for the audience near the field in “Vazrazhdane” Park.
“Education and sports are the basis of any prosperous country, commented Ivan Takov. – How will we have a working economy if we don’t have healthy and well-prepared young people to develop it. Education is central to our platform. Change in this area is extremely imperative. During the rule of GERB, Bulgarian education was completely ruined with the law they passed for school and preschool education. We will restore justice in Bulgarian education and all children will have an equal chance to study in municipal and state schools by restoring funding for them. Sports will be an integral part of Bulgarian education. Pupil sports schools were an extremely good basis for the good health of young people and for future success in high sportsmanship”.
The leader of the capital’s socialists, Kaloyan Pargov, used the opportunity to motivate the candidates for the remaining two most important weeks of the pre-election battle. “Let us not relax and use every hour, every minute to convince our loved ones and friends that change is possible,” he said. – The campaign entered the decisive phase. And with each passing day it becomes more and more clear that our opponent is more and more nervous and worried. It is also shown by the emphatically left-wing rhetoric used by all our opponents. Everyone is competing to see who can promise more income, who can promise higher pensions. And the truth is one thing – their fear of the results on March 26 seems to be very great. Change is entirely possible. We just have to ask for it.”
