The Junta de Castilla y León enthusiastically presents the IV Cycle ‘Community on Stage’, a theatrical proposal that will fill the Miguel Delibes Cultural Center (CCMD) with twelve theatrical shows from December to April. The program includes performances for all ages, with novelties such as short micro-theater shows in the auditorium lobby.

The director general of Cultural Policies, Inmaculada Martínez, along with the president of ARTESA, Alberto Estébanez, introduced this cycle that stands out for its collaboration with local companies and the diversity of proposals.

This year, as an additional surprise, some shows will feature micro-theater performances and magic, circus or clown acts in the lobby of the cultural center before the start of the performance.

Family Theater at Christmas

To bring culture closer to families during the holidays, two children’s theater shows have been scheduled. On December 30, at 7:00 p.m., the Katua&Galea Teatro company will present ‘Cocorico’, followed by micro-theater and family mime by Jesús Puebla. On January 3, at 7:00 p.m., the Baychimo Teatro company will perform ‘My red tree’. Tickets are available online and at the box office.

Theater for Adults

The Theater for Adults series will take place in the Experimental Theater Room of the CCMD, from January 27 to April 27 at 8:00 p.m., with ten performances by companies from the region. Tickets will be on sale from January 8, and a full ticket for all ten shows will be offered for seventy euros until January 27.

This diverse and accessible cultural proposal reflects the Board’s commitment to the performing arts in Castilla y León.
