In 2019, Ho Chi Minh City Industrial University (IUH) set the core value of “Innovation – Solidarity – Humanity” when releasing the strategic plan for the period 2020-2025 and the vision to 2035.
Lots of policies to support students
In order to support students during their school studies, the IUH has developed and issued regulations on a variety of scholarship guidelines that are suitable for many subjects.
Each year, IUH establishes a Student Support Fund from revenue sources from corporations, individuals, and entities that assist the school in awarding scholarships. This fund is divided into many different types of scholarships, such as: study support scholarships for students with good academic performance; Admission scholarships for newly admitted students; Incubation scholarships for high school students who have signed a cooperation agreement with IUH; Study support scholarships for students with difficult circumstances who are not beneficiaries of the policy and funded scholarships for learners at the sponsor’s request.
In the 2023-2024 school year, the fund spent around VND60 billion to provide scholarships and rewards for students with good academic performance or students with unexpected difficulties so that their studies are not interrupted.
By building and diversifying this support fund, IUH has helped realize the dreams of students in difficult circumstances; Encourage students to commit themselves to developing high-quality human resources through study, practice and academic research.
In addition, the IUH has been involved in supporting the “Support to school” program launched by the newspaper Tuoi Tre for many years in a row. In 2024, the school awarded 20 scholarships worth VND300 million to help new students in difficult circumstances continue their learning journey. In addition, IUH also has a policy of free accommodation in dormitories, prioritizing the introduction of part-time jobs and issuing policies to extend tuition fees for students in difficult circumstances.

Submit to the community
With the core value of “humanity” in its activities, IUH always joins together to share and participate in activities to support the community.
In 2020, when the COVID-19 epidemic broke out, IUH mobilized employees from the entire university to contribute a daily wage to fight the epidemic together. The school also supported the COVID-1 Prevention Fund with VND500 million and donated a monolithic PCP real-time testing machine worth about VND19 billion to An Binh Hospital.
Last September, in response to the loss of life and property in many northern provinces and cities due to storms and floods, IUH supported people in areas affected by storms and floods with an amount of VND 9.
For many years, IUH has supported the construction of numerous charity houses in the Go Vap district of Ho Chi Minh City. as well as through its sister unit, Division 5, which assists in the construction and delivery of military and civilian housing in Tây Ninh Province.
IUH students have actively participated in community programs in major volunteer campaigns such as: Green Summer, Volunteer Spring; Traveling together to collect donations for the poor…
With practical and effective programs and activities, IUH has gradually consolidated its position and brand, training citizens who not only have high professional qualifications, but also have a sense of serving the community and contributing to the sustainable development of the country.
The confirmation “In the school year 2024-2025, I commit myself to admit absolutely no candidate to the school who does not study for financial reasons” from Dr. Phan Hong Hai – Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of IUH – is a guarantee of the principal’s commitment to education.
