National singer-songwriter IU’s good heart was proven once again this winter.
On the 30th, EDAM Entertainment announced that IU had donated a total of 200 million won to the underprivileged through Yeouldol, a support group for children with rare diseases, the Korea Child Welfare Association, milk delivery calling for the safety of the elderly, and the Babsang Community Bank of briquettes.
IU’s donation move this time is connected to a number of good deeds she has done with “Uaena” (fandom name) since her debut.
The donated money delivered is used to improve living and care environments for children and adolescents affected by rare diseases and to support children and young people under protection for their care, education and self-sufficiency. In addition, the milk will be used for social contribution activities to inquire about the well-being of elderly people living alone in the region, to share briquettes and provide heating supplies for the underprivileged in heating.
Through the agency, IU said, “Thanks to the love and support I have received from many people, I have wanted to share that love with you as much as I have had a happier and more precious year than ever.” ,” he said.
Meanwhile, IU recently won the New Actress Award at the 27th Chunsa International Film Festival and the 42nd Korea Film Critics Association Award, followed by the 42nd Golden Cinematography Film Festival, and got three new awards.
