SEOUL, Jan. 24 (Yonhap) — South Korean singer IU’s “Love Wins All” music video, which also features V, a member of K-pop superstar BTS, was unveiled at midnight Wednesday.
The video describes the story of a couple’s distorted survival, starring IU and V, she is mute and he is one-eyed.
The story begins with the scene where the couple is chased by a flying object until they manage to enter an abandoned building.
Inside the building they start playing a video camera that contains the couple’s happy moments, and they decide to dress in their wedding suits. IU and V sing, dance and take pictures, until the flying object arrives and the couple’s bodies disappear.
The play received great attention from viewers due to the participation of the director of the film “Concrete Utopia”, Um Tae-hwa, in the staging.
