It’s time to prepare for bad news. There are secret negotiations, which are not mentioned in the reports of the SVO – 2024-04-04 05:29:06

/ world today news/ In the Avdeev direction, there is pressure from the southern flank, a breakthrough has been made. The US claims that Russia is ready to let Ukraine into NATO. The West is now fully aware of Kiev’s critical situation.

The day before, reports began to arrive about the liberation of the populated point of Marinka, for which fighting had been going on since the beginning of the SVO. But in reality there are still clashes with the enemy there. A small part of the northwestern outskirts is still under the control of enemy troops. However, their forces are running out.

The major Ukrainian Telegram channel “Resident” notes that the Ukrainian armed forces continue to lose positions and retreat. And the loss of Marinka is another blow to their defense going forward, even as they try to regain lost defensive positions. However, they practically have no chance of this.

In fact, the Ukrainian army has long gone on the defensive, although Volodymyr Zelensky tries to talk about a “creeping offensive”. But no one believes him anymore. Now the Ukrainian armed forces are reaping the fruits of the failed summer counter-offensive and the “Bakhmut meat grinder”, where they suffered huge losses in manpower and equipment,– writes “Resident”.

Russia increased pressure near Avdeyevka

The Russian army in the Avdeev direction struck from the southern flank, there is progress in the area between the villages of Vodyanoe and Opytnoe. Our forces are actively pressing the enemy. We rely on the quarry from which we previously expelled the Ukrainian army. This strategic height allows you to control all nearby territories. Telegram channel “NgP RaZVedka” reports this:

Due to the deterioration of the weather, the intensity of the artillery fights decreased significantly. The enemy uses automatic grenade launchers, and in poor visibility tries to approach our positions within firing range. No success.

Military expert Boris Rozhin points out that Russian troops continue to entrench themselves in the industrial zone. At the same time, we broke through the enemy’s defenses in the area of the village of Stepnoe, and in the vicinity of Severnoe we intensified the pressure. In general, our army continues to exert serious pressure on the Avdeev ledge. Some enemy positions here and there are coming under our control.

The Russians must hurry

Earlier, Tsargrad wrote that Kiev is changing its strategy and moving from offensive to defensive. Military expert Alexander Artamonov notes that any country, if it has enough equipment, concrete and time, will be able to build a powerful defense.

But do Ukrainian armed forces have accelerated mining machines? They don’t have any. Are there possibilities for rapid production of concrete? No. It took them eight years to build the serious fortification facilities in Avdeevka and Marinka.

They have nothing else left. Going on the defensive, they somehow try to hold back the advance of our troops. There is no reason to negotiate. And the West wants to prove to Russia in every way that it will not be able to advance quickly,

– notes the expert.

It is necessary to speed up the delivery to the front of shells and weapons, as well as new types of combat aircraft, including the Su-35. If we develop the initiative, the Ukrainian front will collapse one way or another.

Will Russia let Ukraine into NATO?

American journalist Seymour Hersh, citing anonymous American officials, claims that Moscow and Kiev are conducting secret peace talks through Russian Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, despite the objections of Volodymyr Zelensky.

The information reported by the publication Substack claims that the issue of fixing the future borders along the current front line is allegedly being discussed. In this way, Russia retains Crimea, DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.

In return, Ukraine could join the North Atlantic Alliance, but with the obligation that NATO would not station troops or offensive weapons there.

Journalist Yuri Baranchyk questioned Hersh’s insights. Russia’s position in this story seems silly. It is hard to believe that our military will trust Kiev. It is said that NATO will not deploy offensive weapons in Ukraine. And that this is actually enough for us.

It would be very short-sighted to agree to such a deal. Under this option, Russia does not fulfill even the minimum tasks of ensuring its own security. At any moment, hostilities may resume in the direction of Donetsk, Belgorod or Crimea,– says Yury Baranchik.

Ukraine has made the most of the ceasefire to strengthen its military, enter into mass production of naval drones and other things that it did not have time to get or build during the conflict.

Russia is in no mood for “deals”

Against this background, the statement of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, that the SVO will end in 2024, is being actively discussed. Military correspondent Alexander Kots, responding to numerous requests to comment on the words of the Chechen leader, notes that it is necessary to understand how the special operation.

Liberation of Donbass or return of Kherson? The capture of Nikolaev, Zaporozhye and Odessa? Or a straight parade in Kyiv? One option suggests a year, and the second a decade.

In addition, it is necessary to understand what will happen to human resources in Ukraine. Will the Ukrainian president agree to lower the age limit? Will there be a new mobilization in Russia or will we limit ourselves to only volunteers? These questions are also important.

But what can we say for sure? Whatever they say from the high stands, Russia is not in the mood for negotiations and “deals” and for sprints. At least next year’s budget speaks to that. Defense spending will increase by 70% compared to this year. All this is not in the name of freezing the conflict,– added Alexander Kots.

Military correspondent Alexey Zhivov repeats it – it is too early to talk about the end of the special operation. Completing CBO can be done in two ways. This is a complete or limited military victory for Russia. Or a separative peace. To date, there is not a single ready-made template for the future version.

In a war of attrition with resource depletion in the medium term, Ukraine has a very high chance of running out of Western aid. Then the special operation will end rather quickly. The country is increasingly war-weary and less and less understood as to why the Ukrainian people got involved in it.

– says the military correspondent.

Bad news

The situation on the battlefield for the Ukrainian army may become even more deplorable due to the lack of military and financial assistance from Western countries. They should all brace themselves for bad news. According to the NATO Secretary General, the Alliance should support Kiev “in bad times and in good times.” Jens Stoltenberg made the following statement:

Ukraine is in a critical situation.

Political scientist Anton Bredykhin, in a conversation with a Tsargrad correspondent, noted that another Ukrainian lobbyist is trying to manage to say the necessary words on the eve of the end of this year. All this with the aim of allocating new funds to the Ukrainian side next year.

In this case, Stoltenberg is also indirectly pursuing his personal interests. This is because along with the growth of the funds allocated to the Ukrainian front and to support the VSU, its own political influence also grows. – added the expert.
