PlanB is known for its stock-to-flow model, applied to bitcoin. According to the anonymous quantitative analyst, it is now time for bitcoin to start the big run towards 100,000 dollars (84,178 euros). He let that know on Twitter.
S2F version 1 update. This is the 2019 time series model on historical BTC data only (no gold, silver, diamonds, real estate data used). You see the jump in model value at the halving (white line) and corresponding drop in S2F multiple / model error (white dots). Time to go up. pic.twitter.com/qIjiXfbmCx

Time to rise
PlanB refers in his tweet to the first version of its stock-to-flow model, in which he expects bitcoin to be 100,000 dollars (84,178 euros):
“This is the 2019 time series model, using only data from BTC (no gold, silver, diamonds or real estate used). You can see the jump in the model at the halving (white line) and the corresponding decrease in the S2F mulitple / model error (white dots). It’s time to go up ”
Twitterer Matteo Dubbini responds: “Aren’t we late now?”
PlanB responds: ‘In 2016 and 2017, the red points struggled to break through the $ 1,000 resistance (and in 2013 it was $ 100). The same seems to be happening with $ 10,000 now. As far as I am concerned, we are exactly on schedule. ‘
You tell me. In 2016-2017 the red dots had trouble crossing the $1000 level (and $100 in 2013). Seems to be similar now with $10,000. IMO we are perfectly on track

Another analyst also agrees with PlanB
Crypto Michaël is an analyst and also from Dutch soil who seems to agree with PlanB. According to the analyst you can compare the bitcoin price movements of today with those of 2016. First the price goes up slowly, and then the price continues to go sideways for a long time. In 2016 there were several such periods. According to Crypto Michaël, we will also see this more often in 2020 and 2021. After that, the price can go up.
If you’d like to compare periods and market cycles, the current state of the market is comparable to 2016.
Slow upwards grind, with long sideways consolidation periods.
In 2016, several were seen.
In 2020, 2021, it’s likely we’ll see that too.
