Shortly after the premiere, Škoda announced the Enyaqu Coupé iV award. Unlike the classically cut sibling, the coupe will only be sold in the top sports version of the RS. And as expected, it is the most expensive new Škoda today, its price exceeds 1.5 million crowns.
Until now, the most expensive model of the Mladá Boleslav carmaker was the classic Enyaq iV in the 80x version with two electric motors, and thus all-wheel drive, with a total output of 195 kW. It costs 1,399,900 crowns without surcharges. Those interested in the most expensive combustion Škoda had to head to Kodiaq, specifically its sports version of the RS with a 180kW two-liter TSI, all-wheel drive and a two-clutch DSG costs 1,313,900 crowns.
Both of these models, as well as any car mass-produced in the Czech Republic, but quite significantly defeated by a hot novelty with a winged arrow in the emblem. The last day of January presented by the Enyaq Coupé iV in the RS version costs 1,559,900 crowns. Škoda has not yet announced the prices of other variants, also because it will be possible to order them in about six months. Those interested in a coupe must therefore make do with the top design. And since the RS version is so far reserved for coupes, it is not even possible to deduce how much the surcharge for a more stylish and aerodynamic body could be.
And what does the Enyaq Coupé RS iV actually offer? Mainly two electric motors, one on each axle, with a total output of 220 kW and a torque of 460 Nm. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds and travels a maximum of 180 km / h, which is 20 km / h more than any other Enyaq. A lowered sports chassis is a matter of course.
The battery has a usable capacity of 77 kWh, but the exact range has not yet been stated by the carmaker. However, according to spokesman Pavel Jína, it aims to cover 500 km on a single charge. By the way, from 10 to 80 percent of capacity, the battery can be reached in 36 minutes as part of fast DC charging. You can also use up to 11kW AC charging or a standard home socket. But then the times needed to recharge are significantly extended.
Enyaq RS shows at a glance that this is the most sporty design. It has, for example, 20-inch alloy wheels, a different design of the front bumper, black body accessories, a red bar in the rear diffuser or a diode-backed Crystal Face mask, which is paid for by any other equipment.
The cabin has sports seats upholstered in microfiber and lime stitching, for 17,500 crowns it can be replaced by perforated leather. The decorative surfaces have a carbon look. By the way, the exclusive green Mamba paint for RS comes to 10,600 crowns and the orange Phoenix to 25,000 crowns, the car has a blue Energy shade at no extra charge.
Equipment in addition to the above features includes a 13-inch multimedia system with navigation, digital alarm clocks, three-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats – for the driver with electric control -, heated steering wheel, keyless unlocking and starting, electrically operated trunk lid or matrix LED headlights with permanent high beam lighting. In addition to the usual emergency braking or lane maintenance, adaptive cruise control or blind spot monitoring can also be used from the assistance systems.
The surcharges include adaptive shock absorbers for CZK 17,500, a panoramic camera system with automatic parking for CZK 24,500, a transparent display for CZK 23,500 or rear side airbags for CZK 10,000.
Production of the car will begin in Mladá Boleslav in the second week of February.
