Jakarta –
Not many people may pay attention to the use of mosquito rackets. Although it sounds trivial, but the wrong use can cause the mosquito racket to be easily damaged. Not to mention, mosquito rackets tend to break easily in just a matter of months or even weeks.
Repairing it again will certainly take time and money. Moreover, it is difficult to find a special service place for mosquito rackets. Not a few later suggested buying a new racket which meant having to spend money again.
This of course can be avoided with proper use and proper care. Here are tips on caring for mosquito rackets so they can last longer.
1. Do not leave the mosquito racket empty for a long time
Amar, an electronics shop keeper at Solusi, Tebet area, South Jakarta, admitted that many of his customers complained that the mosquito rackets were easily damaged. According to him, one of the factors that causes mosquito rackets to be easily damaged is because the racket is left empty without power.
“Usually, buyers only complain about the battery power. Only if you don’t charge it, it will die, so every time you use it for at least 1-2 hours it will be charged again. So don’t let it empty and leave it unused for a long time,” said Amar , when met by detikcom, Thursday (18/11/2021).
2. Don’t charge it too often
There are two types of mosquito racquets on the market, namely rackets with rechargeable batteries and disposable batteries. Although it sounds trivial, it turns out that this charging business can affect the durability of the racket.
Cindy, an electric shop owner who sells mosquito rackets in the Pasar Anyar area, Tangerang City, explained how to charge the right way to make mosquito rackets last longer. According to him, the most important thing is to use the product according to the recommendations listed on the packaging.
“Just follow what’s in the product, if you have this one, use up the battery first until it runs out and then charge it again,” said Cindy.
“But don’t charge it too often, like a cellphone, don’t charge it too often when it’s completely unplugged,” he advised.
3. Swing the racket slowly
The goal is to avoid hitting the racket against a hard surface, such as a wall or table. A hard impact can cause damage to some of the components inside. To prevent this, swing the racket slowly so that it doesn’t hit or bump against a hard surface.
The same thing was conveyed by Ni Putu Putri Utami (21). According to him, one way to make the racket durable is to swing it slowly.
“Just don’t fiddle with the button too often, usually there are people who like to play with the button, just take it slowly, keep putting it in a safe place,” said Putri.
