It has now been agreed that the United Kingdom, which came in second this year, will host the show and that Ukraine will feature prominently in it. To this end, the British public broadcaster BBC is collaborating with the Ukrainian public broadcaster UA:PBC.
“The 2023 Eurovision Song Contest will not take place in Ukraine, but in support of Ukraine. We are grateful that the BBC’s partners show solidarity with us,” said Mykola Chernotytskyi of the Ukrainian Public Broadcaster.
“I am convinced that we will be able to bring the spirit of Ukraine to this event and reunite all of Europe around our common values of peace, support and celebrating diversity and talent.”
