What will happen to the land located in Pointe-Calumet?
This is now the end of the Beachclub.
The Pointe-Calumet Beachclub held its very last event on September 1, marking the end of an era for music lovers.
“After nine years, today is the end… Already eager to tell you what we are going to do with our little beach at the end of the 640,” said the owner of the Pointe-Calumet Beachclub, Olivier Primeau, who has in fact been at the head of the company for almost a decade. However, the Beachclub has been a well-known musical destination for 30 years now.
It was last Sunday that DJ Martin Garrix presented in style the very last show presented at Beachclub. The world-renowned Dutch artist is followed by more than 15 million people on social networks and has been voted four times as the best DJ on the planet by the British magazine DJ Mag.

When Olivier Primeau took over the company in 2015, Beachclub quickly became a festive and cult venue for fans of electronic, Latin and hip-hop music. Since then, more than four million people have traveled to Pointe-Calumet to attend the outdoor shows presented there.
In recent years, the Beachclub has attracted international stars such as Kylie Jenner, David Guetta and 50 Cent to Pointe-Calumet.
Even though the institution has concluded its very last season, the owner has not put the land up for sale. There is also a mystery hanging over the activities planned by the entrepreneur. The latter also mentioned that he will make an announcement on this subject soon.
