It’s nothing that can’t be handled. It will turn out well, Dostál has no doubt

Match number two of the spring is here. They didn’t manage the first existential fight with Karvina at home two weeks ago, now the Zlín footballers will try to make at least an away repair. After the defeat in Pardubice, the Cobblers fell to the bottom of the FORTUNA:LIGA, a win in Silesia will help them rise, where they will be fighting for six points.

“Unfortunately, we got into this situation ourselves. However, it’s nothing that can’t be handled. If we prepare well for it, especially in our heads, we will be able to do it,” Zlín goalkeeper Stanislav Dostál has no doubts.

He experienced a similar situation with his teammates last year. A year ago, they avoided relegation to the second league, they saved themselves in the play-off, even now the cobblers find themselves on the edge, they have it bent.

“It’s not pleasant,” admits number one Zlína. “Even though we have experience with it from last year, no one wants to experience it every year. But we know how to work with it, so it’s up to us how we deal with it, how we fight it off. I think it will turn out well,” he feels.

The thirty-two-year-old mainstay firmly believes in rescue. He feels great determination from the team, he can see in the dressing room that no one cares.

Together with other experienced teammates Fantis, Simerský, Rakovan, Bartošák and Vukadinović, they try to have a positive effect on the younger guys who are experiencing the current situation for the first time.

“Guys get it. We all have to pull together,” the Zlín native knows well.

Even though the cobblers are constantly cheering and cheering, they still can’t transfer their courage from training or the cabin to the pitch to the match. The last duels didn’t work out for them in terms of game or results, they lack the coolness of the game.

“Before, when we were losing, we were able to pick ourselves up, tie the score or turn it around. The main thing is that we don’t cash in first,” he knows well.

Cobblers want to fight back in Karviná for rescue. Motal: We live it every minute

Gotala et al. a tough shift awaits on Sunday, a big fight.

“We know what to expect from it. It’s the little things that make the difference in these games. If we miss one or two chances, the opponent can punish us. We have to play it safe and win it,” he said.

At the end of the season, the cobbler is plagued by a sad ending. They did not score four times in a row, forwards Schánělec and Ikugar scored only once in the spring.

Other fighters are also struggling in the offensive. “Of course, it’s also a matter of luck, but overall we get few chances,” agrees Dosál.

“The opponents play very disciplined and well defensively against us, it is difficult for us to get there. We have to work on it, because it’s not possible without goals,” he knows well.

The people of Zlín must mainly learn from the last home match against Karvina, where they lost 0:1 at home to Letná two weeks ago. “We weren’t patient enough,” he remembers.

For this, they must also be sufficiently responsible and consistent. “But it will be a different match. Karviná will fly at us, he will want to decide the match. We have to wait out the initial onslaught,” he says.

The disciplinarian started proceedings with Matoušek. It can be even a year and a half without football

The cobblers believe that fans will also come to support them in Silesia. They created a great atmosphere in Pardubice, but they have to take their own route to Karviná, because the club did not provide a train or other transport.

“The support of the supporters is important. It’s good to know that we have several dozen or hundreds of fans outside. It’s very pleasant and it helps us,” he claims.

The reliable goalkeeper is helped by his family, with whom he spends all his free time, in the current more difficult moments. “Especially with a daughter, you forget everything. It’s very relaxing with her. We play in the garden or go for ice cream,” he adds.
