Actor and director Siddharth Bharathan has been making films in long intervals. The actor says that his mother KPAC Lalita used to tell him to go to the movies and act when there are such gaps.
But Siddharth says that he needs a lot of time to make the film. The director said that it is very simple to make a bad film and it is somewhat difficult to make a good film. Siddharth said these things in an interview given to Top News Kerala.
‘When films were not happening continuously in my career, my mother asked me if I should go and act. Amma asks if you are doing well, go and watch a movie with some people. Everything mom says is right but then I will be busy doing my next film.
Making a movie is not as easy as it sounds. Not only my film but any film is like that. You can easily make a bad movie but you can never make a good movie easily. Because that’s how we create a character and situations. Similarly, when we talk about politics in movies, our own politics will be reflected there.
Thinking about how to combine all this and make it fun. This is a process and not a quick one. It needs a lot of support. You have to have good writers, you have to find good actors, you have to date them, and so on.
That’s how long this time is. Except I don’t do it on purpose. Siddharth Bharathan said that it is not right to go to the cinema and act while all these thoughts are going on.
