MOSCOW – Moscow released video evidence of what it said was an attack by Ukrainian forces on Russian territory.

A video released by the Russian security services shows two BMP armored vehicles in the eastern forest of the disputed Donbass region, destroyed in an incident on Monday morning (21/2/2022).

The tank was scorched to scrap metal in the video. Black smoke can be seen rising from the wreckage of the BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle.

The explosion from the inside appeared to destroy the turret and rear hatch of another military vehicle, the BMP-1, which the video showed was engulfed in flames.

While Russia has previously issued statements about the shootout, this is the first video allegedly documenting the aftermath.
