VIVA National – Head of Public Relations Polda East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Kombes Ariasandy straightened out the news Chief of Police West Manggarai, AKBP Felli Hermanto who allegedly abused his subordinates. According to him, the water problem that was reported as the trigger was not true.

“It’s not true that the water problem. Periodically the leadership always checks the readiness of the members and the mako,” said Ariasandy when confirmed by reporters on Thursday, January 26, 2023.

He explained that the leadership has the responsibility to guide all of its members, so that they become better members of the National Police. Coaching is to remind members to be disciplined and always ready to carry out their duties.

So, Ariasandy said that it was found that the member did not provide good service to the community who at that time came to the Mabar Police service post. “The police chief checked the readiness of the members, it was found that several members were undisciplined, one of whom was concerned, so the leadership carried out coaching,” he explained.

According to him, every member of the Police must have high preparedness for the development of the situation. Moreover, he said, there will be preparations for securing the 2023 Asean Summit in Labuan Bajo in early May 2023.

“Facing this Asean Summit, of course the leadership wants all members to have preparedness, a sense of vigilance and always be vigilant. Plus today there was a check on the preparations for the Asean Summit security by the NTT Regional Police Chief,” he said.

Currently, he said the member, namely Bripka Samsul Risal, was being treated at the Siloam Labuan Bajo Hospital. Of course, he said, Bripka Risal would receive attention from the leadership.
