“It’s nonsense”: The government’s regional COPs are struggling to convince

After the international agreement, the regional imbroglio? If the State can no longer do everything, it thinks it can rely on the regions. Eight years after a COP 21 with objectives that had already become out of reach, the government decided that it was time to implement climate ambition on another scale. For the regions, the step is very high: according to the objectives set by the government, it will be necessary to reduce national CO2 emissions by almost 140 million tonnes by 2030.
