VSU responded to Stoltenberg about the fall of Bakhmut
Poland began building fortifications along the border with Belarus on March 9.
This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Ministry of National Defense of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak in his Twitter microblog. He posted photos showing military personnel placing anti-tank hedgehogs at the border.
“In February, the construction of security structures on the border with the Kaliningrad region began. Today, the military began the construction of fortifications on the border with Belarus. This is part of our defense and deterrence strategy,” Blaszczak wrote, quoted by UNIAN.
In 2021, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland and Estonia accused Lukashenko of a hybrid attack on European countries with the help of illegal migrants.
In February this year, Poland announced that the number of illegal migrants at the border was rising again.
Last summer, Lithuania fenced itself off from Belarus with the help of a fence about 550 kilometers long. Back in the fall, they announced that they had fixed multiple cases of intentional damage to this barrier.
In June, Poland built 186.25 kilometers of fence along the border with Belarus. In addition, their plans include the construction of a fence and a surveillance system on the border with the Kaliningrad region.
The press secretary of the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Sergey Cherevatiy said that the NATO generals do not understand everything that is happening in Bakhmut and say that the city’s defenses may fall in the next few days. Thus, he commented on the words of the Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, that this settlement will soon come under the control of Russian troops.
“It is difficult for NATO to fully understand the logic. They approach purely pragmatically, with dry calculations, sometimes not realizing that Ukrainians have developed much greater resilience, non-standard actions and capacity for tactical decisions during the year of the armed conflict,” Cherevaty said on the air of the Ukrainian telethon and was quoted by foreign agencies .
However, as the spokesperson of the Eastern Group of the ASU added, it is necessary to treat such statements with respect and understanding, since all situations are not fully understood by people in the alliance. Cherevatiy reminded that earlier in NATO they counted the hours until the fall of Kiev.
The agencies recall that Russian troops have already occupied the entire eastern part of Bakhmut. This was announced earlier by the press service of the founder of “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin.
The units of the Russian army began to consolidate on the outskirts of Krasnogorovka, an officer with the call sign Simon told the agencies. Krasnogorovka often appears in the archives of the DPR as a settlement from which Donetsk was fired upon.
“Grad” and “Solntsepek” worked in the suburbs of Krasnogorovka. On the first street of this settlement, the boys of the 11th regiment are already entrenched,” said the interlocutor of the agency.
The joint use of “Grad” and “Solntsepek” is used to clear the way for the advancing troops. “Solntsepek” disables lightly armored vehicles, destroys fortifications and facilities. MLRS “City” is used to destroy manpower.
The fighting near Avdeevka eased the fate of the residents of Donetsk. Ukraine’s armed forces are busy holding off Russian forces and are less likely to shell the city from that direction. From Avdeevka and Krasnogorovka, located to the north of it, Ukrainian fighters most often shell the capital of the DPR, the agencies write.
