SONY Interactive Entertainment confirmed game Cyberpunk 2077 can again be played on the PlayStation console, after some time ago removed from the list.
“SIE can confirm that Cyberpunk 2077 will be re-entered the PlayStation Store starting June 21, 2021. Users will experience performance issues with the PS4 edition while CD Projekt Red continues to improve stability across platforms,” said Sony, quoted from the IGN page, Wednesday (16/6/2021).
Sony about six months ago removed Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store. When it was released in December 2020, the game experienced severe performance problems when played on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The game was finally pulled from the PlayStation Store on December 17 last year. Developer CD Projekt Red announced the game will return to Sony’s consoles on June 21.
Sony recommends playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 4 and 5 consoles.
As a result of this game being pulled from digital stores some time ago, CD Projekt Red refunded Cyberpunk 2077 game buyers.
As quoted from Antara, the developer is estimated to return funds to 30,000 buyers, which will affect their sales.
