It’s easy to make this new Avengers villain forget Thanos

Since Thanos died, the MCU has been equally safe. Fortunately, it doesn’t take too long, as a new Marvel villain is eager to make the Avengers miserable.

It is quiet in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Ever since Thanos was defeated in Avengers: Endgame, the big question is who is going to threaten it now. Still, a villain seems to be emerging.

The Avengers return

Although it seems quiet in terms of film releases, a lot of hard work is going on to build up Phase 4 of the MCU. Just like Phase 3, the different films and series seem to come together here through a common thread. Of course that also includes a good plot and a good badguy. Fortunately, that seems to be okay if we have to believe the rumors.

Jeremy Conrad of MCU Cosmic claims to have heard several rumors about the MCU. One is one about the new villain that should make Thanos forget. Although it is a tough job, he must be an even better opponent for the Avengers than our big purple friend. According to Conrad, it is about Doctor Doom, who previously had a prominent role in the comics.

Doctor Doom?

Doctor Doom was previously not possible in the MCU because Fox had the rights to it. Because Disney has taken over the media company, it is possible to make it shine in the Avengers films. Doom is of course part of the Fantastic Four which are now also in the hands of Disney.

Incidentally, it is not just Doom if we have to believe the rumors. Lucia von Bardas also enters the MCU. She is the successor to Doom in the comics when he is deposed as the leader of the planet Latveria. How Lucia von Bardas And Doctor Doom are portrayed is still unknown. It is therefore questionable which actors will take on these roles.

So it also seems that The Fanatastic Four will return to the silver screen and join The Avengers. Hopefully, Disney does that better than FOX, because the 3015 movie really wasn’t something to write home about. The production therefore only scored a 4.3 on iMDB and a Metascore of only 27.
