It’s different from Realme 7, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and Samsung Galaxy M31

Realme recently launched Realme 7 with a 64MP camera and Helio G95 gaming processor. Realme 7 is also equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery.

Realme 7 is priced at IDR 3.9 million. With this price benchmark, the Realme 7 can be compared with Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and Samsung Galaxy M31.

CNNIndonesia.com will compare the three phones in terms of camera, battery and performance.

Camera

Talking about the camera, the three cameras on paper have a quality that competes with the 64 MP main camera.

Realme 7 is equipped with four cameras, namely a 64MP main camera with a Sony IMX682 sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens with a 119-degree range, as well as B & W macro and portrait lenses, each with 2MP resolution.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 9 Pro also has four cameras, namely a 64MP main camera, an 8MP 119 degree FoV ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP bokeh camera.

The Samsung Galaxy M31 features a quad camera on the rear body, namely, a 64MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth lens, and 5MP macro lens.

The Galaxy M31 selfie camera is superior to the other two phones with a 32MP resolution. The selfie cameras of the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Realme 7 both have 16MP sensors.

Battery

In terms of battery life, the Galaxy M31 offers a 6,000 mAh capacity battery which is superior to the other two phones. With a 6,000 mAh battery, users are claimed to be able to stream video for up to 26 hours, make phone calls for 48 hours, and listen to music for up to 119 hours.

Unfortunately, the large battery capacity is not supported by high-power fast charging like that offered by the Redmi Note 9 Pro and Realme 7. The Samsung Galaxy M31 only has 15W charging.

While the Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 5,020 mAh battery and the Realme 7 has a 5,000 mAh battery, both phones offer 30W charging.

Charging can fully charge the Realme 7 battery in 65 minutes. While the Redmi Note 9 battery is claimed to be able to be charged 50 percent in less than 30 minutes.

Performance

Realme 7 is the first smartphone in the world to adopt a MediaTek Helio G95 gaming chip combined with a 900 Mhz Mali-G76 GPU. Realme 7 has 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

Redmi Note 9 Pro has a Snapdragon 720G 8nm chip with 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM. Cipset combined with Adreno 618 GPU.

While the Samsung Galaxy M31 has an Exynos 9611 chip combined with 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM.

AnTuTu score shows Realme 7 has the best performance compared to the other two phones. Realme 7 got a score of 290,582, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro was in second place with a score of 274,596, while the Galaxy M31 had a score of 180,011

Questioning the screen, Realme 7 has an IPS screen with a resolution of 2400×1080 (FHD +) 90Hz Ultra Smooth Display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a sampling rate of 120Hz.

Redmi Note 9 Pro has a 6.67-inch IPS screen with FHD + resolution. The Redmi Note 9 Pro screen is the widest screen compared to the other two phones.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy M31 has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED resolution screen. Compared to the other two phones, the Galaxy M31 display panel is superior with the presence of a Super AMOLED screen that offers a higher pixel density.

Realme 7 is priced at IDR 3.9 million, while the Redmi Note 9 Pro is priced at IDR 3.9 million (8GB + 128GB) and IDR 3.5 million (6GB + 64GB). The Galaxy M31 is priced at IDR 3.7 million.
