Animation studio Pixar has released a brand new trailer for ‘Turning red’, the first Pixar film to hit theaters since the pandemic. The film revolves around 13-year-old Mei Lee, who, in addition to all the other ailments of puberty, also has to deal with the fact that if she gets too excited, she turns into a giant red panda.

Actresses Sandra Oh, known for ‘Killing Eve’, and the young Rosalie Chiang are part of the cast. The movie is directed by Domee Shi. She previously directed the short film ‘Bao’, which won an Oscar. ‘Turning red’ is her feature film debut, but she has previously worked on films such as Toy story 4 of Inside out.
The animated film will hit theaters in March 2022.
