This is the difference between 4G and 5G Networks

RAKYATKU.COM – Telkomsel already launched network 5G for several areas in Jabodetabek.
There are the first six locations that get 5G networks and all of them are in Greater Jakarta.
The six locations consist of Alam Sutera, Bumi Serpong Damai, Pondok Indah, Kelapa Gading, Widya Chandra and Pantai Indah Kapuk.

The presence of 5G certainly brings fresh air for mobile phone users in Indonesia, although it is still being launched on a limited basis.
As reported by the product recommendation site Ceklist.id, you can use various recommendations for MiFi modems to surf the internet, although for now it is still dominated by 4G networks, in the future it seems that there will be more gadgets that support 5G including this MiFi modem.
Talking about the difference between 4G and 5G, of course the most visible is the speed.

The 5G network has been available in Indonesia since 27 May. This is the fifth generation cellular network with a much higher internet access speed than the previous generation (4G).
5G networks offer speeds capable of making mobile internet comparable to WiFi.

Citing the High Speed Internet page, the 4G network is a fourth-generation wireless technology that uses radio towers to transmit wireless internet and telephone services to mobile devices.
Although the 5G network was developed on top of 4G, it brings new technology as well as a much wider radio frequency.
5G transmitters and towers use higher frequency radio bands and more antennas for better response times and speeds.

Looking at the capacity, in densely populated areas 5G speeds are ten times faster than 4G, the average speed is almost 500 Mbps. Of course this is a very big difference, because the 4G network is only able to penetrate about 30 Mbps.
Whereas in normal conditions, the speed offered by 4G is a maximum of around 100 Mbps and 5G is capable of reaching 10 Gbps.
How, the difference is very far is not it? Downloading large files is definitely faster than usual.

Telkomsel users also do not need to replace or change their SIM card.
