It’s no secret that the actress Margot Robbie she’s a big metal fan. Robbie previously spoke about his love for bands like Slipknot y Metallicaand I was very happy that Bullet For My Valentine be a fan of yours
Then, in a recent episode of The Graham Norton Show, Robbie said she “genuinely likes” metal after the actress also Cate Blanchett asked him if he really liked the genre. Or as she said Blanchett “Does anyone like heavy metal music?” before adding with some unnecessary sarcasm, “You like Monster trucks and stuff?” Thanks to Robbie for acting cool despite the put-downs and expressing his love for metal in a cohesive way.
Not that enjoying heavy metal was a crazy idea, especially now that the genre is arguably more pervasive in pop culture than ever before. Also, people like heavy metal. It’s not that crazy. There’s a reason why the self-titled album by Metallica from 1991 sold 16 million copies in the United States alone, and it’s not because heavy metal is super underground.
Robbie then he told that he had gone to see Slipknot and that fans were coming up to her to talk about the Australian soap opera Neighbours. Robbie played the character of Donna Freedman on the show between 2008 and 2011, and then again in 2022. Apparently we don’t need to explain this to fans of Slipknot.
I remember going to the concert Slipknot… when I was in Neighbours“, said Robbie. “I have never been approached by more people than at a concert of Slipknot. Them [eran] beautiful. [La gente] He kept coming back and saying… that they were worried about all the characters.”
Now, if we could only get the opinion of Robbie about the potentially upcoming album of Slipknot, Look Outside Your Windowif it is released this year.
