A video showing a group of residents moving someone’s grave but his body still intact has gone viral on social media. The body is said to have been buried for 17 years.
detik.com then tried to trace the video, it was revealed if the event was real. The video was recorded at the TPU in the Cikadu Village area, Tanjungsiang District, Subang, West Java. The body is the body of a Kiai in the Tanjungsiang area.
“Subhaanalloh, my teacher Ajengan Muhya bin Rudia has been buried for 17 years. His body was removed and still intact. Cikadu Village Tanjungsiang South Subang,” wrote Ahmad Faqot’s Facebook account in his post.
When confirmed, Ahmad Faqot explained that the activity in the video was actually an activity of moving the body of the Kiai or the ajengan.
“That’s right, the relocation of the tomb of Ajengan (Ust) Muhya bin Rudia, a resident of Tanjungsiang Village, Tanjungsiang District. The deceased was my running teacher. I studied to run at Ajengan Muhya for three years,” said Ahmad Faqot.
The video with a duration of 2 minutes and 50 seconds was uploaded to the Ahmad Faqot account on Friday (14/1/2022). The transfer of the tomb of the Ajengan is an initiative of residents and their families. This is because, he said, the place that is currently considered inappropriate is because it is close to the sheep barn.
“Therefore, the residents took the initiative to move his body to a more suitable tomb location in the Pasir Naan area of Kampung Cikadu. At the Pasir Naan location, my teacher’s body was buried again near the tomb of Mama Pasir Naan and the tombs of other figures, there are also several tombs of experts at that location. Sufism, “he said.
detikcom tried to visit the tomb. According to the gravedigger, Ace Kosasih admitted that he saw directly the Kiai’s body was still intact when it was about to be moved.
“When the process of removing the body of (Kiai) Muhya bin Rudia, I saw firsthand, it was in really intact condition,” said Ace around the tomb, Sunday (16/01/2022).
In fact, he said, the condition of the bones and skin were still fused and did not cause any odor at all and instead emitted a fragrance from the body of Allmarhumah. However, he said that Kiai Muhya bin Rudia’s body already looked dry, like a preserved body.
“Usually, a body that has been buried for at least 5 months has decomposed, but if it doesn’t have a scent, it looks like it was preserved because it dried up,” explained Ace.
Meanwhile, according to one resident who was once a student of the deceased, the teacher was known to have a very good personality and was appreciated by the community in Cikadu Village, Tanjungsiang Village, Tanjungsiang District, Subamg Regency, West Java.
“His daily life, Allmarhum was known to the public quite well, during his life he spent his time in the mosque and teaching the Koran here from my parents’ generation until I became his student,” said Ujang.
Ujang said that the late Ustaz Muhya bin Rudia, the way he died, was also very noble. The reason is, the teacher of the Koran died after performing the Asr prayer in 2004. It is known, Ustaz Muhya bin Rudia died at the age of 70 years.
“When he died, after the Asr prayer, the deceased came out of the mosque. After that, he sat down. He said that he had high blood pressure and he fainted in the mosque and when he was brought home, he immediately died,” he said.
Meanwhile, from the information gathered, Ustaz Muhya bin Rudia refused to become a Civil Servant (PNS). He prefers to be a teacher of the Koran on the grounds that he does not want to pursue worldly pursuits.
