The university isolated 48 strains of bacteria, and found that two of them had the ability to adapt to survive in harsh environments similar to those found on Enceladus, and the high ability to resistance to high temperatures, and environments with high alkalinity and salinity. Which makes it ideal for studying life in harsh conditions!
And after taking refuge from the word “I”, I highly recommend such rare and scientifically advanced research and study conducted by the university, but, how do you know what ” but”? Have our local problems ended on an expensive part of our planet Earth? Why do we sacrifice our lives and the so-called (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and it requires research and studies to solve it and handle it in a way that will bring us to the leading levels in developed countries? Let the university research and study where there is life on a moon far from us in deep space, millions of miles, or maybe light years, and its name is “Enceladus”, and it is maybe she’s next to a black hole?!
Research and studies related to our food, for example, so that we can achieve our food security, and we don’t have to import it from abroad at a time when wars have increased?! Likewise, we manufacture our medicine locally and treat our patients with it, especially chronic and incurable diseases, instead of waiting for what could benefit someone outside of medicine for us?! Apart from agriculture, which the university said after its establishment would give us efficient ways to grow wheat with sea water, and we are still waiting?! And research and other studies on energy, industry, the economy, the environment of the sea, the earth and the air, antiquities and treasures buried in our deserts for thousands of years, and research and other studies on all areas of development and improving the quality of life.
