The director’s worst fears have come true.
No director would refuse to repeat the success of Steven Spielberg, who gave the world the horror film Jaws. The film, which premiered in 1975, won three Oscars and for a long time broke all popularity records. But the creator of the tape regrets it.
Spielberg feels guilty about what happened around the world after the release of his offspring on the screens. It got to the point that the director found it necessary to publicly repent of his deed.
“The release of the movie “Jaws” caused a worldwide boom in shark hunting. This means that I have helped ensure that the population of this beautiful predator is under serious threat, Spielberg noted.
According to the director, during the filming of his project he pursued a completely different goal. The director believed that those who saw the result of his work would never want to go into the water again.
