The Swedish giant Roony Bardghji, 18, is in demand.
From the Premier League alone, clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham, Newcastle, Brighton, Fulham, Brentford and Aston Villa have been linked with the winger.
But a move to the British Isles should not be a given as the next step. In the TV4 Play studio, the experts agree on which league would suit the child prodigy:
– Right now he is not a clear starting player in FCK, that must be remembered. But the potential is enormous. If offered big money and a big club address, I think both he and FCK will have a hard time saying no, says Vicki Blommé in the broadcast.
– Both Spain and Italy would suit his style of play.
Siavoush Fallahi fills i:
– He (Bardghji) says he wants Jordan Larsson’s speed (see the clip in the player above) because then he wouldn’t have been able to dribble, so I think Spanish and Italian football would have suited him better. Where technology is valued more.
Mikael Lustig, in turn, hopes that the 18-year-old does not take too big a step too quickly. When asked if Bardghji should have a place in the Swedish men’s national team, the expert answers:
– I have wanted to have him in a squad for a long time. He has shown he can sit on the bench and says he sees himself coming in and deciding games, which he has. And I think the national team has missed that, says Lustig.
– At the same time, we need players who play week in and week out, it’s far too bad there (in Swedish football). So I hope first of all that he gets to play in FCK and then makes a smart choice and doesn’t go to one for good club and gets stuck on the bench.
According to Sky Sports, FCK want around 25 million euros, (roughly SEK 280 million) for Bardghji in the event of a sale.
Bardghji has a contract until 2025. So far, there have been 15 goals and one assist in 71 games since his debut in the FCK shirt.
