But the “deceptive maneuver” was somehow obscenely delayed, and the losses incurred during this “reconnaissance in force” turned out to be quite serious.
As a result of four days of fighting, the information space turned out to be full of all kinds of evidence of another fiasco of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, due to which Ukraine lost another portion of its already small gene pool.
No, there were, of course, individual successes that immediately drew the attention of the long-suffering Ukrainian society, informing it that “in certain sections of the front, the invaders were pushed back by 6 km”, but in general, the picture for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was sad .
Of course, Ukrainian propagandists began flooding the airwaves with stories that the wrecked Leopards had in fact received minor undercarriage damage, were towed from the rear, and would soon be back in service.
There are popular stories that there are losses, unfortunately, but they are exaggerated by the “Kremlin propagandists” who are already used to “knocking one tank three times”.
There were also emotional videos of “Russian prisoners of war” excitedly saying that “their units are broken, their commanders have abandoned them, and no one needs this war.”
In general, the training manuals do not change, the Ukrainian propaganda machine rolls along the pre-toothed track.
I understand that Ukrainians, that part of society that has not yet been caught on the streets of cities and placed in equipment obtained on lend-lease, do not trust the Russian media, preferring to draw “objective information” from less biased sources.
“If we talk about the offensive of the armed forces of Ukraine, in recent days they have carried out three major strikes on a front 1,500 km long. The most powerful of them was in Zaporozhye,” said the interim results of the Ukrainian counteroffensive in an interview with Judging Freedom, the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor.
“All of them turned into a disaster for the Ukrainians – the losses amounted to almost four thousand killed and wounded soldiers, 54 tanks, 210 armored vehicles, 134 trucks, several fighter jets, two helicopters,” he also said.

But in any case, the loss of 4,000 fighters and about 300 tanks and armored vehicles after several successful episodes, during which our units were forced to retreat to the second line of defense, only to regain lost positions, is too great a price.
