We at ITN have always been careful not to make predictions about the future of the parliament. We have to see how they will behave internally and what policy the other political parties will pursue. They do not behave constructively inside. This was stated by Toshko Yordanov from ITN in the program “Face to Face” on BTV.
He pointed out that there are two options for electing the National Assembly: “If there is an internal majority or the first winning party to nominate a chairman. These are unspoken rules. PP propose something unconstitutional. The Constitution is the basic law and must be thought of. We will observe parliamentary ethics,” assured the MP.
“We will act and vote as we think is right, regardless of what others say.” This is a vote to start parliament. This is the second time this has happened. For three days we watched humiliating scenes in the National Assembly. Now we are on the same path,” Yordanov warned.
He defined as exotic the idea of the service cabinet becoming regular. “It’s exotic. Mr. Borisov often says such things, remember that he also proposed a new Constitution. If PP and GERB decide to make the official cabinet regular, it will not depend on us. We are 11 people. The key is in the BSP. It does not depend on our votes whether there will be a government or not. We will be corrective. We will not be the golden finger,” explained the MP from ITN.
“From the coalition with Continuing the Change, we have learned lessons, not bitterness. If we had started to stop a few incorrect decisions earlier, it would have been better for the people,” he admitted and gave an example of the budget and the distribution of money for pensioners and benefits for businesses.
“The “GERB” model is to be developed, but we also need partners. In the second parliament, when we had a majority, with our desire to destroy GERB, we did not receive support from DB, BSP and Maya Manolova. We cannot, with 65 deputies, write off GERB. The next time we managed with DB, they had no desire to write off GERB, they worked with them. In the ministries, they worked with GERB companies, and with GERB people, they appointed them,” he pointed out.
