The coordinator of the ITN for Plovdiv – the city of Krassimir Donchev and eight coordinators in the Vratsa region have submitted applications to leave the party.
In a statement addressed to Slavi Trifonov, representatives of the party in Vratsa region said they were disappointed with the vote of the ITN deputies “for” the removal of Nikola Minchev as chairman of the National Assembly.
„We joined the ITN Party / part of us and its establishment / led by the idea of changing the vicious model “GERB + MRF”, to stop the reckless robbery of the state through public procurement and hoops of companies, for judicial reform, majority vote and restoration of the people’s sovereignty, for freedom of speech and the right to opinion, for justice and democracy, for Euro-Atlantic integration, for independence and prosperity of Bulgaria. We led our relatives and acquaintances to join the party, we persuaded people who we respect and respect us, people we trust and trust us to vote for ITN. We did our best in the three parliamentary elections in 2021. for the success of the party, we did not betray it even in the difficult days after the third parliamentary vote, precisely because we believed that you also believe in the ideals and goals proclaimed by the ITN Party. Despite the suspicions of your reluctance to form a government after July 11, expressed by the incredible nominations for prime minister and ministers in the cabinet you announced, with a program that had nothing to do with the party’s program and those who did not participate until then in our struggle for change. We continued to defend the cause because we thought it was yours and our common cause. We also supported the party’s participation in the current government, although three of the ministers also came from outside the ITN, the letter says. And continues: “We all saw the authoritarian style of governing the party, the decisions and actions of MPs and ministers from the ITN became more and more incomprehensible to us, but we nevertheless supported you.”
„When you announced the withdrawal of the ministers from the cabinet, we accepted this as a tactical move to influence the cabinet on the topic of Northern Macedonia. We did not want to imagine that you intend to overthrow the government, which the ITN PP has created. After the five MPs left the party – Georgi Georgiev, Nikolay Radulov, Ivo Atanasov, Deyan Petkov, Svetlin Stoyanov and Minister Radostin Vassilev, it became clear to us that we had been deceived. We believed them because we know they are telling the truth. From them we learned that we were used to deceive our relatives and friends. That we have been used to stifle the idea of change and the rule of law. That we were used to return to the white horse the status quo GERB, which you until recently promised to “erase”the letter continues.
„And yesterday we learned that we had been betrayed. We have been betrayed by you personally, because the decisions in this party are taken by you alone, and you use the parliamentary group only as a group of polling station operators. There were such people, but there are no more! And there is no such blade as created yesterday by the parliamentary group of the ITN Party! And there is no such national betrayal as the ITN PP is preparing to create by overthrowing the reformist government and bringing to power the #Who + GERB + MRF + Vazrazhdane model. This model will return Bulgaria to the swamp of corruption and will tear us away from Europe. This model will take us back 40 years to the Soviet era“, The letter continues.
„No thanks. We were here. We are leaving the party with proud foreheads and we will do everything possible to stop you. We call on all MPs from the ITN parliamentary group to follow the example of their five colleagues and give their support for the reformist government to Prime Minister Kiril Petkov in the no-confidence vote in the National Assembly by voting against. Against the conquest of the state by the forces of evil. Against the union with GERB, MRF and Vazrazhdane. Against the deprivation of national sovereignty “the letter says.
The coordinator for Plovdiv – the city of “There is such a people” Krassimir Donchev also resigned today. It was addressed to the party’s chief secretary Victoria Vasileva and deputy chairman Toshko Yordanov.
“The reasons are complex, especially after what has happened in recent days – the withdrawal of ITN from the ruling coalition and the removal of NA Speaker Nikola Minchev from office, and the votes of ITN. I was thinking of resigning 3 months ago, but I stayed with the hope that some of the things in the local structure would change. Alas, nothing has happened since then, “Donchev told BNR.
To the non-happening, he listed the attitude towards the local structure and the dialogue on the part of Toshko Yordanov, the lack of any information and organization.
Donchev did not commit to the mood of the other members of the ITN in Plovdiv, but added that in his opinion, “in the next coalition with GERB, they will not be very OK about it.”
Krassimir Donchev is the second coordinator for Plovdiv city, who leaves the ranks of ITN. The former Nikolina Despotova was removed in the autumn, and the coordinator for the South region, Ivaylo Vassilev, resigned in April.
