Our national team played the second and last match joint training behind closed doors with Serbia by coach Giovanni Guidetti. The European Champions faced the World Champions, creating four particularly intense sets closed with the 2-2 score (25-18; 25-19; 20-25; 25-27) at Palazzo Wanny in Florence.

Coach Davide Mazzanti opted for this titular sextet: Alessia Orro in the control room, Paola Egonu opposite to, Miriam Sylla and Elena Pietrini crushers, Anna Danesi and Marina Lubian the power plants, Eleonora Fersino the free. Guidetti instead relied on the bomber Tijana Boskovic diagonally with Ognjenovic, Uzelac and Busa di banda, Stevanovic and Popovic in the center, Jegdic the libero. The formations then changed during the match and there was space for the highly anticipated debut in blue of Ekaterina Antropovathat has played as a spiker in the third setwalking down in the field together with Egonu and Sylla: ultra offensive trident that could prove to be a valid solution during the continental review.
