Italy won over Ukraine in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. In the match at San Siro, Gli Azzurri won with a score of 2-1.
A pair of goals from Davide Frattesi determined Italy’s victory. Ukraine responded once with Andriy Yarmolenko’s goal.
The Milan public, especially AC Milan supporters, still cannot forgive Donnarumma for his decision to move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Donnarumma moved to PSG in the summer of 2021. He reportedly gets paid eight million euros a season.
Therefore, Donnarumma was ridiculed by mercenary eyes. Every time the 24 year old goalkeeper returns to Milan, he always gets a ‘boo’.
Vicario supports Donnarumma. He is called a great goalkeeper.
“The booing is quite loud when you play an away game, especially when you play at home. We are great Donnarumma. Forza Azzurri,” said Vicario on Football Italia.
Donnarumma has presented one championship title for Italy. Troci Euro 2020 is his tribute to his country.
