Domenico Berardi again created opportunities from the results of penetrating inside from the right wing. Found space to shoot, but his shot could not beat Dimitrievski in this second opportunity.

One minute later Berardi created another dangerous chance. Utilizing Verratti’s pass on the right side, his shot is now wide of the North Macedonia goal.

Meanwhile, North Macedonia created an opportunity from Enis Bardhi in the 52nd minute. But, unfortunately the opportunity failed because it was too wide of the goal.

Another North Macedonian opportunity was created by Trajkovski also from outside the penalty box. However, his shot still bounced high over the crossbar.

Dimitrievski deserves credit for this match. Some of his saves were crucial and even frustrated the Italian striker.

Disaster fell upon Italy during injury time because they had to concede. It was Alexandar Trajkovski who scored from a long-range shot. The 1-0 score for North Macedonia’s victory made Italy lose hope of appearing in the 2022 World Cup.
