Italy relaxes measures and opens bars, restaurants and shops! – RNF24 News

Italy, unlike its European neighbors, has relaxed restrictions against the coronavirus, allowing, among other things, the reopening of the Colosseum, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel in Rome, with the famous frescoes by Michelangelo.

The vast majority of Italian regions are now classified as “yellow”, which means moderate risk, and this reduction in the risk level allows, among other things, bars and restaurants to reopen during the day, while facilitating travel. .

Bars and restaurants will now be able to accommodate customers at tables until 6:00 p.m., but in limited numbers and respecting social distancing rules.

Museums can also be reopened, but only on weekdays and not on weekends, to avoid large gatherings.

The curfew remains in effect nationwide from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., but the relaxation runs counter to the general trend in other European countries with tighter restrictions.

It should be noted, however, that the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that it is too early to ease restrictions due to the still excessive circulation of the virus.
