The Italian authorities are in the process of considering changes to the local green certificate. Possible decisions in this direction can be expected in December, TG com reported, quoted by BTA.

–Proposals were made by Health Ministry consultant Walter Richardi. Among them are a possible reduction of the validity of the document from 12 to 9 and even 6 months. But mostly exclusion from the scope of action of those who only take a test to gain access to entertainment, cultural and sports facilities. This would seriously affect the unvaccinated.
However, when it comes to access to the workplace, the scope of the certificate will remain the same – for vaccinated, sick and tested. According to the hypotheses, the green certificate will remain valid next year, even maybe until the end of June. In Italy, the gradual introduction of the green certificate began in the summer, and from mid-October it is required for all jobs in the public and private sector.
