Italy: doubling of daily number of infections Abroad

The number of deaths registered in Italy as a result of the virus increased by 172 to 30,911. On Monday, there were still 179 deaths. The number of patients with corona in intensive care has been falling for several days in a row. Tuesday were 952 on the IC, Monday there were 999.

Italy, together with the United States, Spain, Great Britain and Russia, is one of the worst affected countries. It was the first country in Europe to be hit hard, especially in the north near Milan. Worldwide, there are now 288,000 deaths. More than 4.2 million people were known to be infected.
