Italy can repeat Eurovision victory, says Spotify

With the exception of the song chosen to represent each country, “Brividi” is the most listened to song in 28 of the 40 countries participating in the Festival da Canção in Turin. Only four countries – Spain, Luxembourg, Israel and Ireland – have won twice in a row, with Ireland managing to win three times between 1992 and 1994.

The music that will represent Portugal, “saudade, saudade”, by MAROhad an exponential growth since the announcement of the victory in the Song Festival, having grown more than 1000% and has already surpassed 2 million streams. According to Spotify data on the songs participating in Eurovision with the most streams, “saudade, saudade” is in 12th place, which should guarantee a place in the final in Turin, on May 14.
