Residents of two buildings have been evacuated, after the flames spread to a tent on one of the balconies in the building, the news agency writes.
According to the fire service, the fire started around 16.50 on Saturday afternoon.
This is the fourth major fire in the Rome area in just one month, writes ANSA.
The mayor of the city, Roberto Gualtieri, says it is currently unknown what caused the fires, and whether there is anything criminal behind it.
