Italian web store: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti to be released in early January – Informatica – News

An Italian online store has put a webpage online for the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. The store displays a countdown for an ASUS TUF card, which ends on January 5th. The GPU, previously announced as the RTX 4080 12GB, was reportedly announced during CES.

The product page of the ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Ti TUF Gaming 012G recently appeared on the Italian webshop Drako.it, well-known technical website Wccftech. The product page contains an availability countdown that expires in 31 days, which is January 5, 2022. The video card has a cooler with three fans. The gpu also has 12GB of GDDR6X memory, although 16GB of memory is incorrectly listed elsewhere on the product page.

The listing on Drako.it seems to confirm a previous rumor. Technical website Wccftech reported in November that Nvidia would announce the RTX 4070 Ti on January 3, during the CES trade show in Las Vegas. Reviews would follow on January 4, and the card would hit stores on January 5.

Nvidia previously announced this graphics card as the RTX 4080 12GB, which would be available in November alongside the RTX 4080 16GB. However, the 12GB variant was scrapped after criticism, because that video card also had a less powerful GA104 GPU as well as less memory. It was already rumored that Nvidia would later reintroduce the video card as the RTX 4070 Ti. The board has 7680 CUDA cores and a 192-bit memory bus.
