All Energy Australia 2024which was held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centresaw the participation of over 400 exhibitors e 450 speakers experts in the energy field. The event, organized in collaboration with the Clean Energy Council Australian, presented the latest technologies for renewable energy, electric mobility and energy storage. This year, for the first time, Italy was represented through the Italian Pavilionorganized byOffice ICE Agency in Sydney e ANIE Confindustriawith the presence of eight Italian companies which have brought innovative solutions for energy generation – both renewable and traditional, storage and energy efficiency. An important showcase of the concrete contribution that the Italian industry can provide to the ambitious plans energy transition of Australia, which is paying ever greater attention to energy diversification for a green and more sustainable future.

Australia stands out for its commitment to the energy transition: the country aims to reduce emissions 43% by 2030 with the aim of obtaining the82% of energy production from renewable sources to achieve the “Net Zero” by 2050. Thanks to huge investments, Australia has taken a central role in the field of renewable energy, with a growing interest in advanced technologies that contribute to energy efficiency.
The participation of the Italian Pavilion represented an opportunity for international visibility for Italian technologies, strengthening the positioning of Italian companies as partners for sustainable energy in Australia. The Italian industry in 2023 recorded a turnover of 24 billion euros in the energy technology sector, with growth in exports to Australia reaching almost 400 million euros in recent years, up 60% in the last 3 years. This positive trend is also confirmed in the first 8 months of 2024, with an increase of 23% compared to the same period of 2023, confirming the role and growing commitment of Italian companies in achieving the ambitious Australian sustainability objectives.
With this success, All Energy Australia confirms itself as one of the main international showcases for the renewable energy sector, with Italy ready to support the energy transition with innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies.
