“My relationship with Andrea Giambruno, which has lasted almost ten years, ends here. I thank you for the wonderful years we spent together, for the difficulties we went through and for giving me the most important thing in my life, which is our daughter Ginevra,” the leader, the head of the Italian Government, announced in a post on social media. in a text accompanied by a photo in which both appear with their seven-year-old daughter.
The announcement comes after the prime minister’s until now romantic partner has been involved in a controversy for some unfortunate comments made to a co-worker. The video was broadcast this Wednesday by a satirical program on Canale 5, the first television network of the Mediaset group, owned by the family of the late Silvio Berlusconi, whose Forza Italia party is part of the coalition government led by Meloni. The same communication group where Andrea Giambruno works, who presents a current affairs program on Rete 4, another channel of the Mediaset group. And it is precisely during a break in the program that he hosts that he addressed his partner in the studio with sexist comments, while touching his genitals or smoothing his bangs. “Why haven’t I met you before?”, he asks her as she tries to ignore him.
But the last straw was this Thursday when the same program broadcast some audios in which Giambruno has a conversation with another woman in which he can be heard saying phrases like: “Can I touch my package while I talk to you?” , to which she replies that she is already doing it. And she continues: “Are you engaged? are you an open minded person? Do you know that me and (name withheld by the show) are having a story? “Everyone in Mediaset knows this, but we are looking for a third participant because we make trios, even quartets.”
The journalist asks her again if she will join the “working group” and when her colleague answers affirmatively, she tells her that she has to give them “something in return.” She, whose identity has not been revealed, asks if there is “any aptitude test” and Meloni’s partner responds: “Yes, she fucks.”
