A newlywed couple from Cesa, in the province of Caserta, has been missing since Tuesday, just four days after their wedding. The mayor of the municipality, Enzo Guida, launched an appeal on social media to search for Maria Zaccaria and Pietro Montanino, publishing photos of the couple taken on the day of the civil ceremony.
«On October 25th I married them, in the municipality, with a civil ceremony, on Tuesday they disappeared into thin air. They left on foot, leaving no trace, leaving two children at their grandmother’s house. The warning also went out on social media a few hours ago, after the complaint filed by the family on Wednesday morning. Maria Zaccaria and Pietro Montanino, residents of Cesa where they live, made the last phone call on Tuesday at around 5pm, to inform her sister that they had had an unexpected event and it was necessary to go and pick up the child from the soccer field. From that moment on, Pietro’s phone was silent and unavailable. Maria’s, however, had been left at home. Anyone who has information, if anyone has seen them, if you happen to meet them, please report everything immediately to the police. I ask you to share this post, to try to reach as many people as possible”.
