Doha – Italian player Marco Verratti will now play for Qatar’s Al Arabi club. Verratti joins Emir Cup champions Al Arabi from Qatari-owned French club Paris Saint-Germain. The contract was signed with the club after completing a medical examination at Aspetar, a sports hospital in Doha the other day.
Club officials have announced the signing of midfielder Verratti, 30, on a three-year contract. Verratti is expected to feature in the next round of Expo Stars League matches. Since 2012, PSG star Verratti has signed a contract with Al Arabi for 50 million euros.
