Uster District Court: Man (65) lured 14-year-old with rapper’s sex toy

At the end of 2022, the now 65-year-old Italian pensioner from the Zurich lowlands promised a 14-year-old on the Snapchat platform a “Fan Box” – an artificial vagina from German singer and rapper Katja Krasavice – if he met him and him satisfy orally. There were then two meetings. In the first, the young person simply exposed himself in front of the Italian. In the second case, the 14-year-old masturbated with the artificial vagina in front of the accused and received the sex toy in return.
The following year, the accused also had contact with another young person via WhatsApp. He asked him if he had “something naked,” “body or cock.” The then 17-year-old subsequently sent him three nude pictures for 20 francs. There is also alleged coercion in the gay community. The man was arrested in April 2023 and spent one day in custody.
Accused denies pedophilia
At the trial before the Uster District Court on Thursday, the pensioner confessed to the first two offenses, but denied coercion. The pensioner emphasized that he did not feel addressed by children. The judge cited various chat messages that the accused sent to the 14-year-old. He wants to know what he meant by “preparing” for sexual acts and whether he really wanted to have anal sex with the boy. “No, those were just fantasies,” said the accused. And regarding the “preparations,” he wanted to inform the young people about sexually transmitted diseases.
The public prosecutor demanded a conditional prison sentence of 14 months and a conditional fine of 1,350 francs for sexual acts with a child, sexual acts with a minor for payment, pornography and attempted coercion. He should complete crime-oriented therapy during the four-year probation period. In addition, the Italian should be expelled from the country for five years. For the prosecutor, the man used the sex toy to lure the young person specifically for his own sexual needs. “His behavior was selfish and reckless.”
This is not a hardship case for the court
In contrast, his defense attorney pleaded for a conditional fine. “My client accepted the limits of the injured party without any ifs or buts.” Regarding the accusation of pornography, the lawyer said that the 17-year-old had created the three nude pictures himself and voluntarily and that they only showed the intimate area and no sexual acts. She demanded an acquittal regarding the coercion. She defended herself against the expulsion from the country requested by the public prosecutor. “This is a case of hardship. My client has lived in Switzerland since his early childhood.”
The court convicted the man as charged. He also has to pay a fine of 1,600 francs. “You were only interested in satisfying your sexual urges,” said the judge. The expulsion from the country is harsh, but the main offense is a so-called catalog offense. “There is no case of hardship.” The accused only has one brother in Switzerland and was not professionally integrated.
