Italian language championship, a high school girl from Cave in the final

Giorgia Trezza of the “De Filippis Galdi” High School Of Cava de’ Tirreni qualified for the final stage of the Italian Championships, a national and international event for the promotion of the Italian language. The young student from Cavese, a student of the class 3 C Tomorrow April 18 will face the National Final. The young talent

Giorgia Trezza ranked for the categoria senior (three-year high school classes) in sixteenth position in the national ranking, third in the regional ranking and first in the provincial ranking. The aim is to encourage and deepen the study of the Italian language, an essential element of the cultural education of every student and an indispensable basis for the acquisition and growth of all knowledge and skills; encourage interest and motivation in all students to improve their mastery of the Italian language; promote and enhance merit among students in the field of Italian language skills. The initiative

The competition takes place, in its final phase, as part of a broader cultural initiative to enhance the Italian language and literature called “Italian language days“. Cultural events

From 6pm to 11pm, the students of the Cavese high school, guided by their teachers, will revive the myths of the classical world, bringing to the stage theatrical pieces freely inspired by Greek and Latin authors – from Homer ad Aristophanesyes Horace a Petronius. During the evening the cultural events will alternate with shows in which classical and contemporary atmospheres intertwine and the performance of the high school dance group is expected, which will perform the dances in public for the first time Heart dances of ancient Hellenic tradition. The tenth edition will close at 11 pm with the declamation of “To the moon” Of G. Leopardi in Italian and Greek by fifth year students.
