Lanzador is the name of Lamborghini’s new electric car which is part of the company’s new car segment: “Ultra GT:” The Lanzador concept car introduces a GT with high ground clearance with 2+2 seats, clear, purist and technical forms for a completely new “Super Sports Car” concept with unmatched performance.”
The company reports that the car is several years away from launch and that it will not happen until 2028. “The concept marks a significant step towards the decarbonisation and electrification that was announced in 2021,” the manufacturer further reports.
The car has two engines, one for each axle, and with 4×4. The manufacturer says that they have done everything they can to optimize the car to be efficient regardless of driving conditions, road surface and driving style: “the system delivers a peak power that exceeds one megawatt,” they add.
The big reveal takes place on Friday
We don’t know the exact time yet, but we will of course follow up. The exclusive manufacturer has spent the last couple of years putting forward a plan that spans a decade: on the eve of next year there will be petrol/electric models of all the models that are now only offered as petrol models – by the end of the decade it will be launched an all-electric one, i.e. by 2030.
Mao. there will be plug-in models of the Aventador, Huracán, Sián and Urus within three years. It is likely that the concept revealed on Friday will give us an insight into the fourth model, the all-electric one.
We follow the revelations.
